The Three Type Of People That Piss Me Off The Most - Shreya Sachdev
Hi everyone! I hope you’re all having a nice day. For today’s blog post, I thought I would talk about the different type of people that piss me off the most. Honestly, I don’t really like bringing negative energy to this blog or making it seem as if I’m complaining about certain things in my life, but I thought that it would be useful for all of you to know about the different pet-peeves I have regarding certain people since it enables you to get to know me better. I also think it will help you understand my values and my reasons for getting upset over these certain people and why the things they do or say matter so much to me and impact me so much. If any of the things I mention in this post are things that you happen to do, then I hope you know that I mean absolutely no disrespect towards you and that I am not trying to attack you personally. This post is literally just for my visitors to get to know me better, feel more connected to me, and understand me better. If any of you have similar pet-peeves or also get irritated by the things I am going to be talking about today, then make sure to let me know since I’m always interested in hearing about what you have to say about the things I talk about on this blog. Without further ado, let’s get started!
People Who Are Mean For No Reason: Okay, so firstly, rude people really piss me off, but I want to clarify what I mean by this: There are some people who are literally just mean to other people for no reason and that bothers me since the person they are treating badly has not done anything wrong. However, I want to make it clear that there’s a distinction between being mean and “confronting” someone. Growing up, whenever I went to restaurants or hotels that didn’t have good service and made my family unsatisfied with the way they were doing their work, my father would always write up a complaint and straight up tell them that they need to do a better job at making their customers happy. I know some people might consider that to be rude, but I actually think that that’s completely acceptable. There’s a difference between giving feedback to a restaurant by telling them that they need to cook the food better and telling the waiter has an ugly nose, you know what I mean? Therefore, when I say that I don’t like people who are mean for no reason, I mean people who literally go out of their way to make someone else feel bad. Now, this is very different to giving someone honest feedback on something that will help them improve their business and make their customers more happy. The same can technically be said about complaining about teachers. As most of you know, I have posted some things about my own high school teachers on my blog, and whilst some people have told me that it comes off as “rude” and “disrespectful” I personally think that what I’m saying should just be interpreted as advice for teachers to take, especially since I would never write those things to specifically hurt anyone’s feelings, especially my teachers who I have known for so long and feel close to. Examples of being mean for no reason include leaving someone out, insulting someone on something they can or cannot change, and saying things with the intention to make someone else feel bad. I really wish that everyone could just be kind to everyone.
People Who Complain & Don’t Do Anything To Fix It: Okay, so the other type of people that really piss me off are the kind of people that complain about the world around them, but then don’t do anything about it. For example, a lot of people nowadays complain about food waste and how it’s so crucial to preserve food and water for the years to come and for future generations, but then continue to eat only half the food on their plate but then order more food. If someone is going to talk big and act as if they care a lot about a problem in the world, then they should take the initiative to change their own actions. Even if their actions might only make a tiny difference, it’s still something they should do since they spend so much time complaining about it. When I was in high school, there were so many climate change protests happening outside of my school that students would participate in, but then they didn’t do anything personally to help prevent climate change. It’s the same with social media: On Facebook, there will be lots of comments under CNN’s posts about topics that people honestly do have control over, but all people will do is talk, talk, and talk, without actually doing anything themselves. Protesting and commenting under posts doesn’t do shit. That’s why, I honestly will never speak about anything political on my website since I know that I don’t care enough to make a change, just like 99% of the world’s p
People Who Are Narcissists: Lastly, I would say that narcissists really piss me off. I can’t handle being around people who only talk about themselves and are obsessed with themselves. Don’t get me wrong, I like it when I hang out with someone and they talk about themselves because it enables me to get to know them and of course I want to hear about them since that’s why I chose to hang out with them, but people who only talk about themselves are people I can’t handle because they really think that the world only revolves around them. When you’re in the middle of a conversation, it’s obviously really important to show interest in another person as well rather than only talking about yourself.
