Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists is written and directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum and Marlene King. The show stars Sasha Pieterse, Janel Parrish, Sofia Carson, Sydney Park, Eli Brown, Kelly Rutherford, Hayley Erin, and Graeme Thomas King. This show is set in Beacon Heights, a college for wealthy and high achieving students. Whilst everything seems normal at first, it isn’t long until a student is murdered and everyone is a suspect. The three main characters are called Caitlin, Ava, and Dylan, and they are the biggest suspects in the show as they were closest to the victim. An officer is appointed to the case and she will do everything to figure out who is responsible for the murder. Meanwhile the investigation is going on, more characters are introduced and more secrets are revealed. Therefore, the entire story revolves around trying to figure out who the murderer is, as well as watching the relationships between these characters grow. In contrast to the original Pretty Little Liars, I like how this series doesn’t have that many characters which makes it easier to remember the story and keep track of everyone. However, the storyline and dialogue is a bit weak and I will have to give it a 6/10.
